The other day it was sprinkling and Braxton wanted to take a walk. I figured we don't get the opportunity to do that very often because the rain is either no where to be found or paired up with tons of lightning. I knew this walk would need to be short though. The trouble was convincing Braxton of that.
I decided the best way to get him back to the house was to mention that we had to do some grocery shopping. Not sure why he enjoys this task. I know it's not my favorite. The only thing I can think of is that sometimes I agree to getting him the doughnut with gummy worms on top at Frys.
When Braxton heard the day's plan he seemed rather excited. His response was, "What are we getting at the store?" I am sure he was already drooling over the doughnut.
I paused trying to remember the list. "We are going to buy... hmmm.."
Sure enough before I could get to the list part, Braxton smiled and said, "We are going to buy hmmm? I LOVE hmmm. It is a tasty treat. One of my very favorites."
Silly boy!
--- Later I told Lee this story, partly to say "look what you have done." Lee grinned and said, "Now that sounds like you." After thinking about it, he's right. I have nobody but myself to blame for this one! :)
